Abstract

This thesis shows an Action Research Project implemented at San Ildefonso–La Granja Adult Education Centre (Segovia) throughout three courses, from 2012-2013, 2013-2014 and 2014-2015. During this period an intervention has been carried out to increase the students and teachers’ digital competence, to integrate the ICTs in the institution and its educational programs in order to provide a continuous improvement model for the institution. This innovation experience sprang from a thorough self-assessment process to detect the areas for improvement to apply an intervention model. This model comprises four strands:  ICT integration into curricula and students’ digital competence.  Teacher training.  Management and organizational methods based on ICT.  The use of ICT as a tool to enhance collaboration with other institutions to develop joint Projects for increasing the institution European dimension.
