Abstract

This work aims to study the profile of emotional management of men and women from sexist perspective. We intend to find the sexist stereotype based on emotional management, the emotional component of sexist beliefs about what men and women should be from its perspective. In this study we have worked with Teaching Students from Teruel and Ciudad Real, keeping the percentages of men and women of this degree themselves without looking for percentages of 50-50 that have not been representative of the population of Teaching Students. For calculations and the information management, after studying the sample and analysis of reliability of the tests used and created, we have used tests of comparison of means, linear correlation and bivariate regressions. 446 The results show a very clear profile of emotional management that is different for men and women, and also show the need to include the emotional component in the definition of sexism as an attitude and add a new dimension, which we call emotionality, as typical of Hostile Sexism and Benevolent Sexism, with different meanings, but always stereotypical and discriminatory
