Laburpena

The duality Nature/Freedom, which Fichte inherited from Kant, was dealt with by the philosopher from Königsberg in the third antinomy of the Critique of Pure Reason, leaving the door open for the mundus intelligibilis: the intelligible is something revealed in phenomena and it is a necessary condition in order to think about the phenomenic world as such. This trascendental freedom initiated a movement driven by the ongoing aim of achieving the total realisation of the intelligible world in the sensible reality. The Sittenlehre (Ethics or The System of the Doctrine of Morals in accordance with the Principles of the Doctrine of Science) starts out precisely at this point, showing those elements that converge and interweave in such freedom: Kant and the Fichtean Doctrine of Science. The customs o Sitten are not taken in their common, empirical sense of what is normally done, but in the philosophical, aprioristic sense of what ought to be done, of what: �all, as if they were only one, as if they had a single will and a single strength, should do� (GA II/7, 379).
