Abstract
This article aims to analyze some aspects of the Japanese anime Death Note, by Tsugumi Oba and Takeshi Obata, through its narrative turns, moral conflicts and the value of their symbolic universe. It also intends to identify the key of its worldwide success. In order to attain these goals, we approach the thought of French philosopher Pierre Klossowski.
