Resumo
Silvio Berlusconi�s irruption in the Italian political scene changed the parameters of national politics into sort of one man show. New role of the media, power of image, politics as spectacle and manifestation of video-power are taking a new role in Italy. Due to his populism media and his economic influence, it�s clear that we are seeing the birth of a new model of media-political control that probably could be emulated in some Latin American democracies.
