Resumo
The positive and brilliant impulse of love for classical culture and human dignity usually associated to Renaissance has been nuanced by some more dark or ambiguous aspects, shadow zones and divergent tendencies. One of these is a group of authors refusing the paideia or episteme of the middle 16th century and devoting themselves to a rejection of knowledge. This paper summarizes a brief map of this tendancy, analizing the space representation in the Coloquios de Palatino y Pinciano, and linking it with the López de Vega’s Paradojas Racionales, the anonimous Diálogo de Scipión y Sócrates, and late products of Italian Humanism.
