Abstract
This article describes the origin of the rollos, picotas and crosses on the roads, as part of the Indo-European cultural legacy transformed through the centuries, and the close relationship of these elements, with old trees with standing stone, who is chaired a symbolic character, a special place within the living space of the human community.
