Resumen

Este manuscrito expone el protocolo de una investigación que busca comprender e interpretar el proceso de la autolesión no suicida (ALNS) en mujeres con anorexia nerviosa (AN) y/o bulimia nerviosa (BN). Para ello se conceptualizarán las motivaciones para realizarse ALNS y se examinará el significado que las mujeres atribuyen a esta conducta. También se explorará el papel que juega la insatisfacción corporal y la influencia social en este proceso, debido a la importancia de estos factores en la aparición de AN, BN y ALNS. La metodología empleada será cualitativa, utilizando un enfoque fenomenológico para poder abordar el problema a partir de las vivencias de la población a estudio: mujeres, mayores de 12 años, diagnosticadas de AN y/o BN, que se inflijan ALNS. El ámbito de estudio serán centros sanitarios de diferentes niveles asistenciales, generales e infantiles, de la Comunidad de Madrid. Se recogerán los datos mediante entrevistas en profundidad y sesiones de body mapping. El muestreo será teórico, precedido de un muestreo inicial intencional de 12 participantes, llevado a cabo teniendo en cuenta la edad y subtipo de trastorno del comportamiento alimentario (TCA) para su selección. El análisis del discurso se realizará utilizando un proceso inductivo. La novedad del estudio radica en el uso de la metodología cualitativa para la exploración de este fenómeno, en general, y del papel de la insatisfacción corporal e influencia social en las ALNS. El entendimiento de este fenómeno podría ayudar a su prevención primaria y secundaria y mejorar la experiencia terapéutica.
