Ines Ravasini, de la literatura a los refranes

Résumé

Along her academic career, Ines Ravasini (University of Bari, Italy) has built a lot of bridges between her native country, Italy, and Spanish poetry and drama of the fifteenth century and the Golden Age. Of access to the literary works of these periods and their subsequent translation, proverbs play a key role. She conceives them as pills capable of concentrating the popular wisdom in very brief texts, in addition to preserving and transferring in an intact manner its historical and cultural memory throughout centuries. They are present in many literary genres and in all stages of the history of the literature. For Ines Ravasini they carry an important aesthetic, cultural and folkloric load, along with moral values. They also have a profound expressive value due to their synthetic nature. From the literary point of view they have the ability transport authentic speech to the characters of other times and reflect relevant features of poetic language. For all this, their presence in the language classrooms and above all Spanish literature is inescapable.
