Abstract
This paper shows the view on metaphysics that André de Muralt has developed claiming to be a faithful interpretation of Aristoteles’ conception. It deals with the definition of metaphysics as the science of what is as something that is and what belongs to it for itself, its internal structure and articulation, the central notions of transcendental relationship and participation relationship, and the only two structural possibilities on metaphysics: metaphysics of the whole and metaphysics of the one.
