Abstract
The speech on the State of the Union focused on improving the economy and jobs for the middle class. Obama called for a compromise to reduce the deficit that affect the defense, force the leading from behind and put less boots on the ground to drones, covert operations and seeking alliances. As for foreign policy, Obama has confirmed the roadmap for Afghanistan exit and respond to cyber threats. The president also has been willing to fight climate change and reduce energy dependence in order to start a new leadership.
