Beltrán’ collection of Malacology (CBMUCM), from the Department of Biodiversity, Ecology and Evolution of the Complutense University of Madrid, covers around 1,500 species of mollusks, terrestrial and marine. From there, a Virtual Classroom on Malacology has been generated (https://www.ucm.es/malacologia/). It has been deposited on the website of the Complutense University. It is freely accessible and serves as an educational resource for research, teaching at any level of teaching and divulgation. It consists of a database of the collection and an extensive iconography, based on diagrams and images, of the specimens that compose it.
