Abstract

After Obama leave aside to Europe to put their sights on Asia, the crisis in Ukraine has returned "happiness” to the transatlantic old marriage of success. It's time for Europe to think about the military budget to face the Russian strategic challenge and together with the U.S. to create greater deterrence and containment against the expansionism of Moscow. NATO could rejuvenate to this challenge. Besides, Brussels have to coordinate better its foreign policy and it will have launched a common energy policy.
