This experience reflects on the position of Social Education, from Sociocultural Animation, in generating shared community actions, based on popular culture and critical pedagogy, whose purpose is community participation and social transformation. In addition, it is configured as a proposal from Sociocultural Animation subjects in the Degree of Social Education, responding to a training need that, in addition, develops a real community initiative from which to learn with the neighborhood. It begins with a theoretical approach from the perspective of Social Education and transformative socio-educational practices to focus the text on experience planning, action strategies and development phases, with a critical, participative and collective methodology; Specified in the creation of a working group between professionals, students and neighbors and organized in horizontal work sessions. The results obtained materialize in the development of community training, pre-diagnosis of the situation, establishment of principles, lines of communication, creation of the motor group and design of an action to approach the neighborhood. In conclusion, we highlight the finding that this experience is being a process of mutual learning, generating a network of knowledge and shared practices among all agents
