Resum
The history of the common illness at a specific time, with a large number of cases and international diffusion is not a current or specific phenomenon but dates back at least more than a millennium with documented confirmation. The appearance, human affectation and sequels produced, not only in the health field but also in the economic or social field, have maintained a similar behavior even in the present times with the irruption of the COVID-19. From the historical analysis of pandemics derives the best understanding of an extremely important fact even in the society of the 21st century that until now has not been able to be stopped without serious consequences for the world population.
