Resumen

Proyecto Habana is a research strategy in educational tools applied to the Built Heritage Conservation and its value enhancement, both tangible and intangible heritage elements, for university students. The Historical Center of Old Havana regarding the conservation of built heritage through the "Master Plan", carried out by the Historian Office, has been the fieldwork of half a hundred students and professors of the Architectural Construction Department at the University of Alicante in coordination with Cuban experts and CICOP (Center for Heritage Conservation ). In this sense Proyecto Habana conducts research activities establishing a previous "design" and a following "development ", and it concentrates on a comprehensive training for young university researchers, able to position themselves in the "theories of conservation" and to found a necessary process for development of research capabilities by analyzing " the Cuban case."
