Resumo
Mediation and compliance are figures that keep many analogies or similarities, even if they refer to issues that, at first glance, seem to have nothing to do with each other. However, if we look at the functions and application of the mechanisms that make up both technical categories, we can see that they complement each other appropriately in many cases. By the nature of this journal, every reader is, by far, familiar with mediation, but not with compliance. For this reason, it is necessary to outline the implications of compliance and its gradual incorporation into our legal-economic reality to show the potential to combine it with mediation and other ADR systems.
