Abstract
Given the importance of emotional, socio-affective and family variables, among others, in the academic evolution of the students, this study aims to identify different profiles of students according to three dimensions: Family support, Anxiety and motivation towards achievement and social relations, in the Spanish students participating in PISA 2015. Studies have allowed the identification of three profiles of students and their association and distribution by Autonomous Communities show that those regions with the highest percentage of students in Profile 1 (with high family support, high motivation towards achievement and adequate social relations) are those with higher scores in Math, Reading and Science in PISA 2015. For their part, regions with a greater percentage of students of Profile 3 (with low scores in the dimensions) have lower scores in the three areas of knowledge.
