This work analyzes the use of "active measures" from Soviet times to today, when Russia develops a growing use of these techniques. Since the Chechen conflict, the internal and external crisis have been overlaping each other, as well as the answers of the government, identical in intensity: agressive cyberactivity, with military conception of information and control of the internal media. The conclusion emphasizes the key role of the intelligence services, as the main endorsers and executors of disinformation, and their consequences far the institutional structure of the country.
