Zusammenfassung

As a result of the constitutional mandate that granted full rights to women’s suffrage, the Asturias a candidate in the elections of November 1933, Veneranda Garcia-blanco Manzano, collecting its act of Parliament elected. It was the beginning of his political work in institutions of the State. This text discusses, from his own oral testimony, Veneranda political path in a double aspect: that of early taking Republican conscience and Socialist activism, that leads it to organize the fight against the dictator Primo de Ribera, and to collaborate with the Republic during and after the civil war from his exile in Mexico. And the woman, who along with others of his generation were precursors to occupy public spaces where leave to hear the voice of their peers.
