Resum

In this text we point out the importance and relevance of Paolo Fabbri’s ideas –as posology, as instructions for use– about political discourse and the grammar of «power», understanding that if there is a concept with an enormous semantic potential in politics, that is precisely the idea of power. In this sense, the grammar of «power» suggests that we analyze the different political discourses and their participants, considering power as the hegemonic modality in a family of modalities. Well, it is in the texts where we can see how the different figures of power are manifested, how the enunciating subject exercises power as a modal competence to convince, persuade and program the receiver.
