Resumen

The present work aims to show the film Surcos (1951) as a multifaceted vision of Spanish society at the end of the post-war period. Its double dimension is based on being a gaze at that society from the very regime of Franco, but that nevertheless also turned out to be an indiscreet gaze due to the hard social panorama that it showed. Likewise, the film's pedagogical capacity is highlighted and a strategy is proposed for the study and knowledge of the current generations.
