Abstract

Nowadays, there is a growing interest in polymers coming from renewable sources and with biodegradable characteristics as alternative to traditional petroleum-based plastics. This article describes how pine resin derivatives allow to improve the properties of bioplastics, by different processing techniques available at industrial level (i.e.: extrusion, injection moulding, 3D-printing, etc.), obtaining materials with interest in different industrial applications (packaging, agriculture, membranes, etc.)
