Résumé
Spain, one of the oldest nations in the world, has always been built on the world stage, by vocation and condition; full of capacities and potentialities, remains an important part of the world and its external action helps maintain its overall presence and representation. This external action, inspired by principles that are the ones of Spanish society, guided by principles, which establish priorities and are materialized in objectives that, as the External Action Strategy points out, pretend, in general, preserve and promote peace of Spain and the world and promote Spain ́s interests. One of the key tools of external action is constituted by its network of offices outside Spain, in which the figures “Attaché” and “Defense Advisor” are a key element. Therefore, regulation, organization and operation of the Defense Attaché Offices are shown, as well as its deployment around the globe and the latest modifications to it, in accordance with the changes taking place in the world.
