Abstract
After the self-proclaimed independence of Kosovo, recognized by more than half of the nations of the Earth, the situation has not improved at the local, regional or global level. The European Union, subjected to powerful internal and external tensions, continues to try to integrate the Balkans into its unique space; but the territory of Kosovo and the circumstances that surrounded and surround it constitute a constant difficulty for the European project. A brief review of facts and a final reflection articulate this document.
