Factores de riesgo para los trastornos conductuales, de ansiedad, depresivos y de eliminación en niños y adolescentes

Resumen

Este estudio pretende identificar los factores de riesgo diferencialmente relacionados con los trastornos de conducta, ansiedad, depresión y eliminación en una muestra clínica de 362 niños y adolescentes de 6-17 años. Los factores estudiados fueron: variables sociodemográficas, estresores psicosociales en el contexto familiar, fracaso académico, inteligencia, factores tempranos, historia médica y psicopatología parental. Los resultados mostraron que existían perfiles de riesgo distintos para cada categoría diagnóstica: tener un padre joven, estar muy preocupado por la muerte de un ser querido, las discusiones y peleas familiares, el maltrato físico, repetir curso y problemas tempranos de comportamiento se asociaban a los trastornos conductuales; la edad de la madre, problemas en el parto y miedo al maltrato físico, a los de ansiedad; tener más edad, estar preocupado por la familia, alcoholismo familiar, padecer enfermedades frecuentes y el estado psicopatológico de la madre a los trastornos depresivos; y, tener menos edad, ser varón y el retraso en las pautas de desarrollo a los de eliminación
