Abstract

Nigeria, the first sub-Saharan economy, has a significant relevance for both Europe and Spain. But Nigeria is also an amalgam of armed conflicts arising from social conflicts that effectively dissolve the possibility of attracting foreign investment. Not surprisingly, Nigeria is probably one of the countries with the greatest number of internal armed conflicts in the world. This document, the second of the alleged series on Nigeria and its conflicts, analyzes the conditions surrounding the Nigerian society in order to try to find the keys to explain why so many social conflicts are evolving in armed conflicts in a single society. This analysis is carried out on specialized literature on Nigerian conflicts.
