Abstract
A new National Security Strategy and a possible further development of a second- level Aerospace Security Strategy could imply the need to address changes in national aerospace doctrine. Throughout this chapter we analyze what a doctrine is and what role it must play in relation to strategy, present some of the fundamentals of air and space doctrine related to strategic political and military levels, and explain the problem of the development of a national aerospace doctrine.
