Abstract

In the era of the technological boom, in which all daily activities are affected by the use of new technologies, it is important to discover the shortcomings of the teaching of translation and interpretation in general and of translation and specialized interpretation in minority languages in particular. Moreover, in today's multicultural society, it is essential to be able to master computer tools that have the purpose of facilitating the work of the translator / interpreter and this can be done through a coordinated effort between the different training institutions at national and international level. This short paper has two aims: on the one hand, to present some projects and initiatives related to the training of Translation and Interpreting students in the field of information and communication technologies and, on the other hand, to describe some useful tools for the creation of corpus by the students in general and by the students of linguistic combinations that have few bilingual dictionaries, such as students from the Romanian-Spanish combination, among other minority languages.
