Abstract
From these pages are analyzed the material elements, existing in madrilenian houses from America, which were among the possessions of those who had developed part of their career serving the monarchy in the American viceroyalties. We will study the case of José de Laisequilla (1677-1755), who served as oidor at the Audiencias of Santo Domingo, Quito and Santa Fe, through the objects of American origin - luxury, as well as artistic, but also everyday elements- that made up his house in Madrid at the time of his death and that were collected in his post-mortem inventory.
