Erreakzioa-reacción.Una propuesta de colaboración DIY entre el arte y el feminismo

Resumen

Erreakzioa-Reacción, a project born in 1994, will help us to reflect about theory, artistic practice and feminist activism in the Basque Country and in Spain. Its members belongs to one of the first generations that went to University just after the Spanish Transition to democracy and were conscious that there were not a consolidated feminist tradition in relation to theory and artistic practice. They first projects were shaped in different ways but this paper is centered in its edition of publications (1995-2000) and the organization of different seminars and workshops that has been considered a referent due to its pioneer nature, i.e. For your Eyes Only (1997) and The Repoliticization of Sexual Space in Artistic Practices (2004). Their aim was to contribute to help and expand similar projects of Do it Yourself collaborative feminist action in the Basque Country and Spain.
