Resum

The degree of satisfaction of nurses in the surgical ward of a hospital in new opening in the Community of Madrid. The impact job satisfaction and organizational climate influence the final results and the excellence of care. The Community of Madrid has established hospitals with a horizontal organization, still unknown nursing satisfaction, with the aim of the study, knowing the degree of satisfaction of nurses in the surgical ward of one of the new hospitals opening. To answer the research question, data were collected through a questionnaire with 25 questions across 9 dimensions. The findings showed us a young nurse population satisfilj.lkj ed with their current job. In conclusion, although the nurses in the study were satisfied in their work there, dimensions that need improvement: the allocation of staff and management of computerized medical records.
