Abstract

The main objective of the current research has been stablishing a compared sequence of war facts that took place in Toledo and Guadalajara Spanish provinces along the stabilization period of its fronts while the Spanish Civil War (1936–1939). During most of the conflict, those fronts worked as the flanks of the capital city, Madrid. There, some of the key facts for the outcoming of the strategic operations took part, like the siege of the Alcazar or the battle of Guadalajara. However, after the end of the operative cycle over Madrid, the historiographical attention over those fronts nearly disappears.
