The photograph reflects a moment of the meal of confraternization and farewell, between students and professors of the Superior School of Veterinary of Córdoba. Five years earlier, 42 students had enrolled, of whom just 25 finished it, although in the snapshot only appear identifiable 20 of them. From 13-07-1871, the subjects of the degree were given and distributed in 5 courses and these students were formed according to the Curriculum approved by Royal Decree 27-09-1912, which represented an advance over the previous one; among others, the teaching materials of microbiology, histology and zootechnics were newly introduced. The students became aware of a new internal and modern perception of the Veterinary Science, which undoubtedly contributed to the fact that a generational change was taking place in the Faculty. Finally, the beginnings of their professional activities were marked by the events before and after the Civil War of 1936
