ConCiencia Inclusiva (Inclusive Conscience/With Science) is a project that uses scientific experiences based on the chemical sciences, crystallography in particular, to promote shared learning situations involving people with and without disabilities. This article describes a set of activities based on crystallography and crystal growth performed by secondary school students from two schools. These activities are based on the methodology of cooperative learning in couples so that, through observation and formulation of hypotheses and, above all, through manual labour, students can understand the events that occur in their environment. The set of experiments performed in this pioneer inclusive practice have shown great potential as a teaching tool, not only to introduce experimental sciences in the school contexts of Educación Secundaria Obligatoria (ESO, Compulsory Secondary School) and Educación Básica Obligatoria (EBO, Compulsory Elementary School), but also to accomplish personal development goals.
