Resumen

En aquest article abordem els aspectes afectius i motivacionals de la controvèrsia que es pot articular entorn d'un problema públic mediatitzat. Ens interessa analitzar com les emocions acompanyen l'experiència i la definició d'un fenomen com a intolerable contra el qual es reclama intervenció, així com l'apel·lació estratègica a un repertori afectiu per a aconseguir adhesions a una posició particular. Analitzem els sistemes de sentit i les emocions que es mobilitzen en la controvèrsia actual sobre prostitució i tràfic de persones amb fins d'explotació sexual, per a conèixer com operen les perspectives implicades, quines estratègies emocionals utilitzen i com interseccionen en elles disposicions afectives de base i emocions transitòries que serveixen per a orientar la deliberació. Els discursos i relats propis de cada perspectiva, a més de definir i emmarcar les emocions dels actors implicats en la controvèrsia, busquen proporcionar certes experiències emocionals als seus destinataris previstos, els inciten a incorporar certes regles del sentir que formen part de les perspectives morals i ideològiques que cada perspectiva promou.
