Abstract

The Almonte-Marismas aquifer host the Doñana Natural Park and its surroundings, and is one of the most important wetlands in Europe. Both the marshland and the temporary ponds in the Doñana environment have a high ecological value that closely depends on the good condition of the aquifer.
