Laburpena

In this work we are going to present an unpublished novel written in Spanish by the Portuguese author João Franco Barreto in 1628. It is a handwritten work which had all the necessary licenses to be printed by Paulo Craasbeeck, but never was. Ignored by the investigators, “El Soldado Quexoso” is a very interesting vision of the uses and customs of the court in both Lisbon and Madrid.
