Resum

The present doctoral thesis entitled Family Heritage Documentary Holding (FHDH): a novel proposal as of the family library and archive Belmonte-Chico de Guzmán’s documentary management and analysis intends to open up a new field of documentary research. The proposal is based on the study of a privately owned documentary holding: library and archive, belonging to the Chico de Guzman family, located in the 18th century manor house property they have in the village of Mota del Cuervo, province of Cuenca (Spain). Such documentation is part of the Spanish historical cultural heritage -dated from the 15th to the 20th century- created and generated by the different generations of the Belmonte-Chico de Guzmán family lineage. Thus, the main object of study has been the Family Heritage Documentary Holding Belmonte-Chico de Guzman (FHDH-BCG) integrated by both a bibliographic and an archival holding termed as the Family Heritage Library Belmonte-Chico de Guzmán (FHL-BCG) and the Family Heritage Archive Belmonte-Chico de Guzman (FHA-BCG)...
