Abstract

Aims. The association of on-admission C-reactive protein (CRP) and early adverse outcomes in acute venous thromboembolism (VTE) has not been investigated. We hypothesized that increased on-admission CRP levels is associated with early adverse outcomes (mortality, bleeding, recurrence) in patients with acute VTE. Method.
