Abstract

The entry of neoliberal globalization into Colombia's agricultural sector has caused a series of changes in agriculture and the dynamics of work that benefit global agri-food markets. However, regardless of their consequences that could be considered uniform, these changes have been too heterogeneous, so their understanding requires a historical look that addresses the different global and local aspects. In this sense, this research analyzes the local dynamics of agrarian change and its influence on the mobility processes of agricultural labor in the Department of Nariño (Colombia).
