Resumen
The Eomyidae from the Lower Miocene fauna of Aliveri are represented by one species only:Pseudotheridomys parvulus (Schlosser, 1884). Fahlbusch's (1970, 1983) model of the evolution ofPseudotheridomys to Ligerimys is discussed. It is suggested that the age of the fauna is EarlyMiocene (MN zone 4).
