Abstract

The arrival to the emergency room of a patient with chest pain suggestive of myocardial ischemia (or with symptoms compatible, and you should not miss atypical presentations and anginal equivalents presenting as acute coronary syndrome in some patients) should put in place a strategy aimed at diagnosing and treating the patient at an early stage and appropriate. This includes the whole process, from which the patient comes to medical attention through the time when it detects the existence of ACS, either at an early stage, either based on the findings of complementary, until stratifies the severity of each case and decide the strategy and therefore the treatment to follow.
