Abstract
This article discusses the introduction of the Director General's role in the TRLC as well as the simultaneous elimination of any references to the Attorney General. The Director General's employment relationship is explored on the basis of the top management personnel employment concept as enshrined within Royal Decree 1382/1985 and within relevant case law. Subsequently, the article examines the concrete TRLC articles which incorporate references to the Director General's role, with a specific focus on the role's new inclusion as a person affected by the qualification
