Resumen
Este artículo está dividido en tres partes. En la primera, se precisan brevemente algu-nos supuestos de la tradición fenomenológica influida por Husserl. En la segunda, se expo-nen los diversos significados con los que Wittgenstein ha empleado en su obra la expresión “fenomenología” y se considera si hay alguna relación conceptual entre esas acepciones y lo característico de la tradición fenomenológica. En la tercera, se identifican los motivos del pensamiento maduro de Wittgenstein que más radicalmente ponen en cuestión la posibili-dad de la empresa fenomenológica.
