Abstract

The anthropological study of fifteen individuals from a Punic site in Sant Antoni de Portmany (Eivissa), can furnish data on the physical characteristics of the island population during the 111-11 b.C. period The sample does not differ significantly from other nearby contemporaneous populations, such as Son Real and Son Oms (Mallorca). The remains also show low frequencies of oral pathologies and cribra orbitalia.
