Abstract
All scholars are aware of the importance of the heliolatric cults in Mesoamerica. In this paper I analyse three hymns dedicated to the sun in the Maya area, in the Central Mexico Highlands and in the ancient Egypt. I think this is a very good path to a better understanding of those religious practices.
