Résumé
An experiment has been carried out at the ETH (Swiss Institute of Technology at Zürich, Switzerland) with a wax model, using the automatized machine under plane strain/pure shear conditions, developed by Mancktelow (1988). The shear zones triggered in the interface between two competence-contrasting wax blocks, display anomalous «apparent» drag-effects.
