Zusammenfassung

Progenitor cells for periodontal ligament and bone tissues have to migrate, proliferate, mature and attach on the radicular surface to occur periodontal regeneration. Selection of a growth factor may be critical to achieve regeneration. These growth factors (FGFs, PDGF, IGFs, TGFs, EGF, fibronectin) and attachment proteins may support an important role in periodontal wound healing.
