Abstract
In our contribution we address some issues concerning the Graeco-Roman tradition, particularly the relation between myth and history, in the Canary clergyman Cristóbal Pérez del Cristo’s Excelencias y Antigüedades de las siete Islas de Canaria (1679) and his connection with the Canary Islands.
